The Outlaw Expositor

This sermon, delivered at Providence Presbyterian Church, is on Psalm 130. Commonly called, “Out of the Depths” this Psalm is about being in the depths over sin and guilt, but the Psalmist finds plentiful redemption in their only hope. Luther called this Psalm, “a proper master and doctor of Scripture” because it so clearly teaches the truths of the Gospel. Many have found Psalm 130 to be an encouragement during times when guilt and doubt have overtaken them.
